I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and I received complimentary bottles of water because the hotel had low occupancy during my stay. The service was impeccable, with a few exceptions. The location was great, close to Mandela Square and the facilities were top-notch. The hotel is conveniently located close to the convention center in a beautiful area and is patrolled by unobtrusive security staff. While the rooms left an oily feeling under our feet and weren't ready when we checked in, the service was warm and welcoming. Dining offered ample variety but some breakfast items were finished early. The staff accused my sister of smoking in the room, which was unsettling. The location is great for specific needs but needs better maintenance around the pool area.
